Hikmah Idul Adha: Merekat Ukhuwah dan Rela Berkorban

IDUL ADHA adalah salah satu hari raya umat Islam, selain Idul Fitri. Dalam Idul Adha, ada ibadah haji dan ibadah kurban sehingga Idul Adha disebut juga "Lebaran Haji" dan "Idul Qurban".

Ibadah haji dan Ibadah Kurban sama-sama mengajarkan dua hal: ukhuwah atau persaudaraan dan sikap rela berkorban demi agama (Islam), juga demi kemanusiaan.

Hikmah Ibadah Haji

Ibadah haji mengajarkan kesiapan mental-fisik untuk menjalani kehidupan dengan tuntunan dan tuntutan Islam. Tauhidullah dan syariat Islam yang ditegakkan dan didakwahkan Nabi Ibrahim a.s., Nabi Muhammad Saw, juga nabi dan rasul lainnya, wajib kita imani, pahami, amalkan, dakwahkan, perjuangkan, dan bela!

Ibadah haji juga mengajarkan kesamaan, kesetaraan, dan persaudaraan umat manusia. Maka, promosikan ukhuwah di kalangan manusia, khususnya sesama kaum Muslim!

Semua manusia sama dalama pandangan Allah. Hanya takwa yang membedakannya. Taka tercermin dalam akhlak karimah atau perangai yang baik. Tidak peduli apa pun pekerjaan dan jabatannya, yang membuat seseorang mulia bukan pekerjaan atau jabatan, tapi ketakwaannya, akhlaknya!

Pakaian ihram jamaah haji mengandung pesan: suatu saat, cepat atau lambat, kita akan hanya berbusana kain kafan nan putih. Hanya amal saleh yang menjadi bekal dan penolong kita di alam akhirat kelak.

Hikmah Ibadah Kurban

Ibadah kurban mengajarkan semangat berkorban apa saja, demi tegaknya syi’ar Islam dan ketaatan kepada perintah Allah Swt. Jiwa, raga, atau diri kita dan harta yang kita miliki, hakikatnya titipan atau amanah dari Allah Swt.

Maka, gunakan tenaga, pemikiran, harta, jabatan, atau apa pun yang kita miliki, demi dakwah Islam dan ibadah kepada Allah Swt.

Harta adalah amanah sekaligus fasilitas ibadah kepada Allah. Harta bukan tujuan, tapi sarana ibadah. Maka, alangkah meruginya orang berharta yang tidak menjadikannya sebagai sarana mendekatkan diri kepada Allah Swt.

Lakukan ibadah harta berupa zakat, infak, dan sedekah. Allah Swt menjamin, harta yang diinfakkan akan berkah dan tidak akan berkurang, justru bertambah dengan keberkahan.

Selain itu, penyembelihan hewan kurban mengandung pesan agar kita "menyembelih" pula sifat-sifat hewaniyah (kebinatangan) --perangai buruk laksana hewan seperti rakus, angkuh, pelit, "cuek", tak tahu malu-- dalam diri kita. Ia pun mengajarkan semangat "share and care", berbagi dan peduli, terhadap sesama.
