Gubernur Jawa Barat Ahmad Heryawan menjamu makan siang Ustad Abdul Somad yang dijadwalkan memulai safari dakwah di Jawa Barat, mulai hari ini, 30 Maret 2018. “Ini tidak ada unsur politiknya,” kata Aher, sapaan Gubernur Jawa Barat itu, di sela jamuan makan siang di rumah dinasnya di Gedung Negara Pakuan, Bandung.
Pada kesempatan itu, Ahmad Heryawan mengungkapkan jika anggaran pemerintah digunakan dengan tepat sasaran maka bisa menjangkau banyak orang.
Anggaran pemerintah bisa digunakan untuk membantu ribuan petani dengan program hibah traktor agar bisa mendongkrak produksi padi. “Kita ke depan bercita-cita, kelembagaan baik pemerintah dan nonpemerintah, kalau dikelola orang baik, akan berdampak pada kebaikan,” kata Aher.
Abdul Somad mengamini pernyataan Ahmad Heryawan tersebut. Dia mengisahkan soal adanya pernyataan seorang menteri dari negeri jiran yang menyebut dakwah hanya bual-bual kedai kopi. "Saya sakit hati mendengar dia bicara itu,” kata dia, Jumat, 30 Maret.
Berawal dari kritik itu, Abdul Somad mengatakan ceramah dimaknainya sebagai step anak tangga paling bawah. “Kekeliruan besar kalau ada dai diukur dari berapa jemaahnya yang datang, karena itu baru step awal. What’s next, setelah ceramah itu akan ada apa?” kata dia.
Abdul Somad mengatakan ada tiga hal yang selalu disampaikan dalam ceramahnya. Soal perbaikan pendidikan, perbaikan ekonomi, serta perbaikan politik. Menurut dia, perbaikan politik itu jika ada kesadaran bahwa saat mencoblos dalam pemilihan umum bukan hanya sekadar memilih, tapi ada persaksian di hadapan Tuhan.
"Ketika saya keliru, maka saya sudah masuk salah satu dari tiga dosa besar; pertama syirik, kedua durhaka pada orang tua, dan ketiga memberikan kesaksian palsu,” kata Ustad Abdul Somad.
Adapun soal pendidikan, Abdul Somad mengatakan bahwa saat ini jumlah siswa lebih banyak ketimbang lokal kelasnya. "Perbaikan pendidikan itu hanya bisa dibangun dengan politik," ujarnya.
Ustad Abdul Somad mengatakan politik saat diisi oleh orang yang tidak soleh menurut agama, membuat orang jadi antipati. “Ada dua yang dikhawatirkan jemaah yang disampaikan pada saya, 'duapoli'. Satu politik, satu poligami. Ternyata kekhawatiran umat pada kedua ini mengerikan. Padahal sebaiknya perbaikan umat bisa dilakukan dengan memilih pemimpin yang berkomitmen,” katanya.
