Ini Hukuman yang Diterima Dua Pemuda yang Injak Tengkorak di Pemakaman Tua Toraja


Dua pemuda diberi sanksi adat oleh pemangku adat Kete Kesu, Toraja Utara, Sulawesi Selatan, setelah melakukan adegan injak tengkorak di kompleks pemakaman tua objek wisata Kete Kesu.
 
“Fotonya sempat viral di media sosial yang memperlihatkan seorang wanita bernama Rezky memegang tengkorak, sementara teman prianya bernama Randy berpose menaruh kaki di atas tengkorak tersebut seperti hendak menginjak tengkorak,” kata Layuk Sarungallo, pemangku adat, Selasa (27/3/2018).

Tidak hanya itu, di foto berikutnya juga terlihat si pemegang tengkorak tadi kembali memegang tulang, kemudian beraksi seperti bermain gitar.

Foto tersebut diposting pada Senin, 19 Maret 2018 lalu, oleh akun bernama Rezky. Foto itu dilengkapi dengan keterangan yang menyatakan, “Liburan kemaren ke kampung semalam doang nyempetin dulu”

Sontak aksi dua pengunjung ini menuai kecaman dari warganet. Mereka dinilai tidak menghargai adat budaya Suku Toraja.

Setelah viral dan diberitakan media, kedua pelaku langsung menyerahkan diri dan meminta perlindungan kepada pihak kepolisian.

Mereka diamankan di Mapolsek Panakukang, Makassar  Sulawesi Selatan, pada Sabtu, 24 Maret 2018 lalu.

“Kami tidak tahu jika akan begini, dan saat berita itu muncul dengan sadar kami melapor ke Mapolsek Panakukang untuk meminta perlindungan,” ucap Rezky.

Setelah mendapatkan jaminan keamanan dari pihak kepolisian, akhirnya dua pelaku dibawa ke objek wisata Kete Kesu.

Keduanya langsung disidang adat oleh pemangku adat setempat dan dijatuhi hukuman adat ringan, dengan denda memotong seekor babi sebagai bentuk permohonan maaf ke leluhur Suku Toraja.

“Jadi karena hanya mau melakukan sesuatu hal surprise terhadap kawannya, bahwa ini bukti saya di Kete Kesu, di Kete Kesu ada tengkorak, dan itu tidak ada niat untuk merusak, atau mengambil, atau mencemari. Makanya hukumannya ringan, hanya seekor babi,” jelas Layuk Sarungallo.

Kedua pelaku menjalankan ritual mengkasala atau memohon maaf kepada leluhur di tempat kejadian dengan membawa pinang, sirih, kapur gambi  dan tembakau.

Benda-benda tersebut kemudian ditaruh di lokasi mereka berpose sambil memohon maaf dengan dibimbing oleh pemangku adat Kesu.

Pelaku juga akan menjalankan upacara sanksi pemotongan babi atau ritual Mangrambulangi  sebagai bentuk pengakuan salah dan permohonan maaf kepada arwah leluhur.

Menurut Rezky, ia melakukan itu tanpa sengaja dan hanya bersifat reflek.

“Yang kami lakukan hanya spontanitas, tanpa ada unsur atau niat untuk mencela budaya, itu hanya reflek kami aja. Kami menerima sanksi ini dengan tulus,” ucap Rezky.

Sementara Randy yang juga melakukan hal yang sama juga menyesali perbuatannya dan meminta maaf kepada semua pihak.

“Saya minta maaf atas kejadian ini dan sempat viral di media sosial, dan atas kejadian ini kami menyesal, dan semoga tidak terulang kembali di tempat Kete Kesu ini maupun di tempat wisata lainnya,” kata Randy.
