Mana yang Benar? Dzuhur, Zhuhur, atau Dhuzhur?


Artikel ini saya tulis gara-gara salah komen di Facebook. Dan kesalahan ini cukup sering saya lakukan, yaitu salah ketika menulis nama shalat dalam bahasa Indonesia/latin.
Karena memang penyebutan dalam bahasa Indonesia ini yang beredar bermacam-macam.
Coba kita intropeksi udah bener belum kita menyebut nama shalat di judul saya di atas? Iseng-iseng saya coba test ke google dengan search frase “Shalat Dzuhur”, “Shalat Zhuhur”, “Shalat Dhuhur”.
Ternyata menurut google yang dia kenali paling populer adalah “Shalat Dzuhur”.
Pencarian dengan keyword “Shalat Dzuhur” menghasilkan 496 ribu hasil. Sementara pencarian dengan keyword “Shalat Zhuhur” menghasilkan 399 ribu hasil.
Untuk “Shalat Dhuhur” malah tidak ada hasilnya dan google merekomendasikan keyword “Shalat Dzuhur”. Jadi google memilih yang “benar” adalah “Shalat Dzuhur”.
Ok, sekarang kita tinjau bahasa arabnya:
Hadits Nabi Shollallahu ‘alaihi was sallam dari sahabat ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr rodhiyallahu ‘anhu,
وَقْتُ الظُّهْرِ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَكَانَ ظِلُّ الرَّجُلِ كَطُولِهِ مَا لَمْ يَحْضُرِ الْعَصْرُ
“Waktu Sholat Zhuhur adalah ketika telah tergelincir matahari (menuju arah tenggelamnya) hingga bayangan seseorang sebagaimana tingginya selama belum masuk waktu ‘Ashar …”
Nah dalam hadits tersebut tersebut terlihat jelas bahwa yang digunakan adalah الظُّهْرِsehingga yang betul seharusnya penulisan latinnya adalah “Shalat Zhuhur”.
Begitu juga “Shalat Ashar” kadang ada yang salah sebut “Shalat ‘Azhar” seperti saya tadi baik Zhuhur maupun ‘Ashar salah sebut.
Tapi untuk “Shalat Ashar” si google sudah betul memenangkan yang menggunakan “Ashar” oh iya lebih pas lagi karena menggunakan ‘ain maka “Shalat ‘Ashar”.
Nah semoga mulai sekarang kita tertibkan menulis yang benar, sehingga ke depannya mbah google bisa merekomendasikan kata yang lebih pas yaitu “Shalat Zhuhur” dan “Shalat ‘Ashar”.
