Keutamaan Sholat Sunnah Fajar Sebelum Subuh


Shalat Sunnah Fajr memiliki banyak keutamaan yang lebih dari Shalat Sunnah lainnya. Bahkan Rasulullah tidak pernah meninggalkan Shalat Sunnah Fajr semasa hidupnya. Apa sajakah keutamaan tersebut?
Dalam hadits dari Aisyah Radiyallahu ‘anha yang diriwayatkan oleh Muslim dijelaskan bahwa dua rakaat shalat sunnah fajar lebih baik daripada dunia seisinya.
“Dua rakaat shalat fajar lebih baik dari pada dunia seisinya.”
Para ulama memaknai dua rakaat fajar dalam hadits tersebut adalah shalat sunnah rawatib shalat subuh. Sehingga shalat fajar ini bisa kita sebut juga sebagai shalat qabliyah subuh (shalat yang dilaksanakan sebelum shalat subuh).
Para ulama juga menjelaskan bahwa maksud dari “khairun min ad-dunya” adalah “khairun min mata’id dunya”, yakni lebih baik dari pada perhiasan dunia.
Atau dimaknai juga dengan “khairun min infaqi maal ad-dunya fi sabilillah”, yakni ‘lebih baik dari pada berinfaq di jalan Allah dengan harta duniawi’. Akan tetapi para ulama lebih condong pada makna yang pertama.
Lalu, pahala yang akan didapatkan saat melaksanakan shalat fajar ini sangatlah besar dan ini terbukti dari perkataan Aisyah radhiyallahu ‘anha jika Nabi Muhammad saw tidak pernah sekalipun meninggalkan kedua raka’at tersebut.
Dan juga Rasulullah Shalallaahu ‘alaihi wassalam berjanji jika shalat fajar tersebut dikerjakan, maka Allah juga akan memberikan perlindungan selama satu hari penuh.
Hal ini seperti yang diriwayatkan Jundab bin Sufyan, Rasulullah bersabda,
“Barangsiapa melaksanakan shalat Subuh maka ia dalam jaminan Allah SWT. Maka jangan coba-coba membuat Allah SWT membuktikan janji-Nya.
Barangsiapa membunuh orang yang menunaikan shalat Subuh, Allah SWT akan menuntutnya, sehingga ia akan membenamkan mukanya kedalam neraka.” (HR Muslim).
Itulah beberapa keutamaan dalam melaksanakan shalat sunnah Fajr. Subhanallah, semoga kita mendapatkan keutamaan tersebut yaa, Sahabat.
