Maksud hadits tersebut tetap bahwa kemenangan akan berpihak kepada umat islam untuk melawan orang-orang Yahudi yang menjadi musuh kaum Muslim.
Dalam sebuah perkataan Hadits pun dijelaskan bahwa akan datang masa sebelum datangnya hari kiamat bahwa kaum muslimin dan bangsa Yahudi akan mengalami peperangan besar dan ini adalah suatu hal yang pasti akan terjadi.
Bangsa Yahudi akan dibantai oleh kaum muslimin, dan hal ini terjadinya di bumi Palestina, dan saat itu seluruh pepohonan dan bebatuan yang dijadikan tempat persembunyian bangsa Yahudi akan berseru memanggil kaum muslimin untuk membunuh mereka, kecuali pohon Ghorqod.
Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemenangan berada di tangan Islam dan kehinaan akan meliputi bangsa Yahudi yang terlaknat dan terkutuk.
Namun negeri ini kini terampas dan terjajah, dirampas dan dijajah oleh bangsa terburuk di muka bumi ini. Namun penjajahan mereka atas bumi Palestina dan Syam adalah penggalian kuburan bagi mereka sendiri.
Karena Nabi yang mulia telah memilih negeri ini sebagai bangkitnya ath-Tha`ifah al-Manshurah (golongan yang mendapat pertolongan) yang akan membinasakan bangsa Yahudi dan membebaskan negeri Syam dari kekuasaan mereka serta menegakkan Islam sebagai agama yang haq.
Ini menumbangkan mitos yang mengatakan bahwa yahudi adalah bangsa yang terkalahkan. Justru mereka kini telah kembali ke posisi asal mereka yang telah ditetapkan Allah dalam firman-Nya:
ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ أَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُوا إِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَحَبْلٍ مِّنَ النَّاسِ
“Mereka ditimpa kehinaan dimanapun mereka berada”, dan bahwa pengecualian yang diberikan kepada mereka, yaitu “Kecuali jika mereka berpegang kepada tali (agama) Allah dan tali (perjanjian) dengan manusia …” (QS. Ali Imran: 112), telah dihapuskan, sebagai balasan bagi kerusakan dan kesombongan yang mereka lakukan di muka bumi ini.
