Dan saling berwasiat dalam kebaikan menurut kemampuan masing-masing –tentunya dengna cara yang baik dan waktu yang tepat—sehingga ia bisa menghilangkan kemungkaran tersebut.
Siapakah yang tak ingin hidayah mengetuk hati orang yang dicintai?
Orang tua memiliki hak, saudara —kakak maupun adik— tiap-tiap mereka memiliki hak, mereka semua harus dinasihati dengan uslub (metode) yang baik, lemah lembut menurut kemampuan, sehingga tercapailah apa yang dikehendaki dan bisa menghilangkan perkara yang dilarang.
Ketika seseorang hendak memberikan nasehat hendaklah memperhatikan adab-adabnya karena adab tersebut sangat menentukan diterima atau tidaknya nasehat. Beberapa adab yang perlu diperhatikan adalah:
1. Mengharapkan Ridha Allah Ta’alaSeorang yang ingin menasehati hendaklah meniatkan nasehatnya semata-semata untuk mendapatkan ridha Allah Ta’ala.
Karena hanya dengan maksud inilah dia berhak atas pahala dan ganjaran dari Allah Ta’ala di samping berhak untuk diterima nasehatnya. Rasulullaah shallallaahu alaihi wa sallam bersabda,
“Sesungguhnya setiap amal itu bergantung kepada niatnya dan sesungguhnya setiap orang itu hanya akan mendapatkan sesuai dengan apa yang diniatkannya. Barangsiapa yang hijrahnya kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya maka hijrahnya (dinilai) kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya, dan barangsiapa yang hijrahnya karena dunia yang hendak diraihnya atau karena wanita yang hendak dinikahinya, maka (hakikat) hijrahnya itu hanyalah kepada apa yang menjadi tujuan hijrahnya.” (HR. Bukhari dan Muslim)
2. Tidak Dalam Rangka Mempermalukan Orang yang Dinasehati Seseorang yang hendak memberikan nasihat harus berusaha untuk tidak mempermalukan orang yang hendak dinasehati.
Ini adalah musibah yang sering terjadi pada kebanyakan orang, saat dia memberikan nasihat dengan nada yang kasar.
Cara seperti ini bisa berbuah buruk atau memperparah keadaan. Dan nasehatpun tak berbuah sebagaimana yang diharapkan.
3. Menasehati Secara RahasiaNasihat disampaikan dengan terang-terangan ketika hendak menasehati orang banyak seperti ketika menyampaikan ceramah.
Namun kadangkala nasehat harus disampaikan secara rahasia kepada seseorang yang membutuhkan penyempurnaan atas kesalahannya. Dan umumnya seseorang hanya bisa menerimanya saat dia sendirian dan suasana hatinya baik.
Itulah saat yang tepat untuk menasehati secara rahasia, tidak di depan publik. Sebagus apapun nasehat seseorang namun jika disampaikan di tempat yang tidak tepat dan dalam suasana hati yang sedang marah maka nasehat tersebut hanya bagaikan asap yang mengepul dan seketika menghilang tanpa bekas.
4. Menasehati Dengan Lembut, Sopan, dan Penuh Kasih Seseorang yang hendak memberikan nasehat haruslah bersikap lembut, sensitif, dan beradab di dalam menyampaikan nasehat. Sesungguhnya menerima nasehat itu diperumpamakan seperti membuka pintu.
Pintu tak akan terbuka kecuali dibuka dengan kunci yang tepat. Seseorang yang hendak dinasehati adalah seorang pemilik hati yang sedang terkunci dari suatu perkara.
Jika perkara itu yang diperintahkan Allah maka dia tidak melaksanakannya atau jika perkara itu termasuk larangan Allah maka ia melanggarnya.
Oleh karena itu, harus ditemukan kunci untuk membuka hati yang tertutup. Tidak ada kunci yang lebih baik dan lebih tepat kecuali nasehat yang disampaikan dengan lemah lembut, diutarakan dengan beradab, dan dengan ucapan yang penuh dengan kasih sayang.
Bagaimana tidak, sedangkan Nabi shallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,
“Setiap sikap kelembutan yang ada pada sesuatu, pasti akan menghiasinya. Dan tidaklah ia dicabut dari sesuatu, kecuali akan memperburuknya.” (HR. Muslim)
Fir’aun adalah sosok yang paling kejam dan keras di masa Nabi Musa namun Allah tetap memerintahkan Nabi Musa dan Nabi Harun agar menasehatinya dengan lemah lembut. Allah Ta’ala berfirman,
فَقُولا لَهُ قَوْلا لَيِّنًا
“Maka berbicaralah kamu berdua kepadanya (Fir’aun) dengan kata-kata yang lemah lembut.” (QS. Ath Thaha: 44)
Saudariku… dan lihatlah tatkala nasehat dilontarkan dengan keras dan kasar maka akan banyak pintu yang tertutup karenanya. Banyak orang yang diberi nasehat justru tertutup dari pintu hidayah.
Banyak kerabat dan karib yang hatinya menjauh. Banyak pahala yang terbuang begitu saja. Dan tentu banyak bantuan yang diberikan kepada setan untuk merusak persaudaraan.
5. Tidak Memaksakan Kehendak Salah satu kewajiban seorang mukmin adalah menasehati saudaranya tatkala melakukan keburukan. Namun dia tidak berkewajiban untuk memaksanya mengikuti nasehatnya.
Sebab, itu bukanlah bagiannya. Seorang pemberi nasehat hanyalah seseorang yang menunjukkan jalan, bukan seseorang yang memerintahkan orang lain untuk mengerjakannya.
Ibnu Hazm Azh Zhahiri mengatakan: “Janganlah kamu memberi nasehat dengan mensyaratkan nasehatmu harus diterima. Jika kamu melanggar batas ini, maka kamu adalah seorang yang zhalim …” (Al-Akhlaq wa As Siyar, halaman 44)
6. Mencari Waktu yang Tepat Tidak setiap saat orang yang hendak dinasehati itu siap untuk menerima petuah. Adakalanya jiwanya sedang gundah, marah, sedih, atau hal lain yang membuatnya menolak nasehat tersebut.
Ibnu Mas’ud pernah bertutur: “Sesungguhnya adakalanya hati bersemangat dan mudah menerima, dan adakalanya hati lesu dan mudah menolak. Maka ajaklah hati saat dia bersemangat dan mudah menerima dan tinggalkanlah saat dia malas dan mudah menolak.” (al-Adab Asy Syar’iyyah, Ibnu Muflih)
KesimpulanJangan pernah putus asa untuk memohon pertolongan Allah karena pada hakekatnya Allah-lah Yang Maha Membolak-balikkan hati seseorang.
