Tiga Masjid diserang di Jerman pada Ahad (26/3) waktu setempat. Dalam insiden pertama, sebuah masjid di pusat kota Tassel diserang dengan bom molotov pada pukul 4.30 dini hari waktu setempat. Serangan itu tidak menimbulkan korban jiwa.
Namun, masjid yang dikelola oleh Uni Yurki Eropa (ATB) itu mengalami kerusakan kecil. ATB merupakan salah satu asosiasi Muslim-Turki terbesar di Jerman.
Rekaman keamanan memperlihatkan empat penyerang terlibat dalam insiden tersebut. Akibat serangan itu, beberapa jendela Masjid Yunus Emre rusak. Sementara sebagian kerangka masjid terbakar dan dinding bangunan rusak.
Mustafa Koc, kepala pusat budaya yang mengelola masjid, mengatakan bahwa mereka ingin polisi menangkap semua pelaku penyerangan yang bertanggung jawab atas serangan itu. Menurutnya, serangan semacam itu telah menimbulkan kekhawatiran mereka semakin meningkat.
“Kami berharap pihak berwenang segera bergerak dan bertindak memecahkan masalah ini. Kami menyerukan seluruh komunitas Turki untuk tetap berhati-hati,” kata Koc, dilansir di Anadolu Agency,Senin (26/3).
Secara terpisah pada hari yang sama, dua masjid lagi dirusak di kota Herne dan kota Amberg. Kedua rumah ibadah itu dikelola oleh Persatuan Islam Turki untuk Urusan Agama (DITIB).
Di Masjid Wanne Eickel Haci Bayram, para penyerang menggambar salib di pintu depan dan menulis pesan yang memuji pemimpin Nazi, Adolf Hitler. Mereka juga menulis pesan-pesan politik yang mendukung kelompok teroris YPG/PKK melalui cat yang disemprotkan di Masjid Ulu.
Setidaknya tercatat 40 serangan semacam itu terjadi sejak awal tahun ini di Jerman. Kelompok PYD/PKK dan organisasi sayap kiri mengklaim bertanggung jawab atas lebih dari dua lusin serangan sejak peluncuran Operasi Olive Branch yang dipimpin militer Turki di wilayah barat laut Suriah, Afrin, untuk melawan teroris YPG/PKK-Daesh.
Serangan itu menargetkan masjid, asosiasi dan toko Turki di berbagai kota, termasuk Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, dan Aachen. Namun, polisi Jerman telah gagal menangkap pelaku penyerang di sebagian besar insiden.
PKK telah dilarang di Jerman sejak 1993. Namun, mereka tetap aktif, dengan hampir 14.000 pengikut di negara ini.
