UKP-PIP Berubah Nama Menjadi Badan Pembina Ideologi Pancasila

Unit Kerja Presiden Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila (UKP-PIP) yang dibentuk di era Presiden Joko Widodo akan berubah nama menjadi Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila (BP-PIP).
Hal itu dijelaskan langsung oleh Kepala BP-PIP Yudi Latief usai mendampingi Ketua Dewan Pengarah BP-PIP Megawati Soekarnoputri bertemu Panglima TNI Marsekal Hadi Tjahjanto di Kantor Panglima TNI Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat No 2, Jakarta Pusat, Rabu (14/3/2018).
Dalam pertemuan itu kedua belah pihak membicarakan sinergi antara BP-PIP dan TNI dalam hal pembinaan ideologi Pancasila ke seluruh wilayah nusantara hingga ke perbatasan negara.

"Sejak tanggal 28 Februari 2018 kami berganti nama menjadi BP-PIP yang akan memperkuat sinergi dalam rangka penguatan ketahanan Pancasila. Oleh karena itu kami tadi pagi mengunjungi MPR RI dan siang ini bertemu dengan Panglima TNI untuk membicarakan sinergi tersebut," ujar Yudi.

Yudi mengatakan dengan perubahan nama dari unit kerja menjadi badan menandai bahwa lembaga tersebut akan tetap ada dalam usaha menjaga ketahanan ideologi negara walaupun pemerintahannya terus berganti.
"Setelah berubah dari unit ke badan, maka siapa pun presidennya maka lembaga ini akan tetap berjalan. Tadi pagi kami ke MPR dan mereka sepakat akan hal tersebut karena BP-PIP ini awalnya berasal dari rekomendasi MPR RI," tegasnya.
Sebagai penanda perubahan nama, Presiden rencananya akan melakukan pelantikan kepada unsur pimpinan BP-PIP.
Namun Yudi belum mengetahui kapan tanggal pelantikan tersebut dan apakah akan diisi oleh orang-orang yang sama.
"BP-PIP ini akan dilantik lagi. Ketua Dewan Pengarah tetap Ibu Megawati dan kepalanya juga tetap, mudah-mudahan," ujarnya sambil tersenyum.
