Sandiaga: PKL Kota Tua Mau Direlokasi

 Wakil Gubernur DKI Jakarta Sandiaga Uno menyebut PKL Kota Tua bersedia direlokasi. Pemindahan itu untuk mempersiapkan Kota Tua sebagai salah satu ikon pariwisata menjelang Asian Games 2018.

"Justru mereka (PKL) mau pindah dari situ. Nah ini akan ditata dalam jangka pendek ini bagaimana ada traffic flow-nya," kata Sandiaga di Balai Kota, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta Pusat, Rabu (14/3/2018).

Sandiaga mengaku akan mencontoh penataan Tanah Abang untuk diterapkan di Kota Tua. Tapi Sandiaga masih dalam tahap diskusi bersama jajaran terkait.

"Di Tanah Abang kan mereka bisa ditata seperti itu. Tapi kan kita harus melihat dulu kondisinya di Kota Tua dan tadi sudah dipetakan," jelasnya.

Sandiaga menjelaskan penataan Kota Tua dibagi dalam tiga tahap. Untuk jangka pendek, Sandiaga akan merelokasi PKL ke lokasi binaan yang ada di Jalan Intan dan mengurai kemacetan yang akan diumumkan bulan ini.

"Yang jangka pendek ini bagaimana memastikan bahwa lebih bisa ada pengaturan, khususnya mengenai kesemrawutan di beberapa titik yang sempat dilaporkan," terangnya.

Pada jangka menengah, Sandiaga akan menata Kali Besar. Dia ingin Kali Besar menjadi tempat wisata pada Asian Games.

"Jangka menengahnya ini termasuk Kali besar itu harus selesai sebelum Asian Games. Kita tidak mau pas Asian Games salah satu ikon yang kita ingin dorong itu belum optimal. Karena ini untuk menarik termasuk juga penataan lalu lintas, parkirnya juga," jelasnya.

Sedangkan untuk jangka akhir, Sandiaga ingin merestorasi Kota Tua ke bentuk aslinya pada 2019. "Jangka panjangnya kita harapkan di 2019 ke atas kita akan kembalikan filosofi dr Kota Tua sesuai dengan harapan konsorsium waktu itu Pak Jokowi (gubernur sebelumnya) yang sudah membentuk konsorsiumnya," terangnya.
