Ada dua ayat didalam Al Qur’an yang bila di baca setiap malam jadi orang yang membacanya bakal diberikan kecukupan. Dua ayat saja? Iya, hanya dua ayat.


Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam bersabda :
مَن�' قَرَأَ بِالآيَتَي�'نِ مِن�' آخِرِ سُورَةِ ال�'بَقَرَةِ فِى لَي�'لَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ
“Siapa yang membaca dua ayat terakhir dari surat Al Baqarah saat malam hari, niscaya ia tercukupi. ” (HR. Bukhari dan Muslim)


Dalam Nuzhatul Muttaqin syarh Riyadhush Shalihin, Syaikh DR Mustofa Said Al Khin, Syaikh DR Mustofa Al Bugho, Syaikh Muhyidin Mistu, Syaikh Ali Asy Syirbaji serta Syaikh Muhammad Amin Luthfi menjelaskan kalau satu diantara arti tercukupi dalam hadits ini yaitu terpenuhi kepentingan dunia dan akhiratnya dan terhindarkan dari semuanya keburukan.


Hadits ini juga yang tercantum oleh Ibnu Katsir waktu menerangkan keutamaan dua ayat terakhir surat Al Baqarah ini dalam tafsirnya.


Dua ayat terakhir dalam surat Al Baqarah itu tak lain adalah firman-Nya :
“Rasul sudah beriman pada apa yang di turunkan padanya (Al Qur’an) dari Rabbnya, demikian juga orang-orang yang beriman. Semua beriman pada Allah, malaikat-malaikat-Nya, kitab-kitab-Nya serta rasul-rasul-Nya. (Mereka menyampaikan) : “Kami tak membeda-bedakan seseorang juga diantara rasul-rasul-Nya”, serta mereka menyampaikan : “Kami dengar serta kami patuh. ” (Mereka berdoa) : “Ampunilah kami ya Rabb kami serta pada Engkaulah tempat kembali. ”

Allah tak membebani seorang tetapi sesuai dengan kesanggupannya. Ia memperoleh pahala (dari kebajikan) yang diusahakannya serta ia memperoleh siksa (dari kejahatan) yang ditanganinya.

(Mereka berdoa) : “Ya Rabb kami, jangan sampai Engkau hukum kami bila kami lupa atau kami salah. Ya Rabb kami, jangan sampai Engkau bebankan pada kami beban yang berat seperti Engkau bebankan pada beberapa orang sebelumnya kami. Ya Rabb kami, jangan sampai Engkau pikulkan pada kami apa yang tidak sanggup kami memikulnya. Maafkanlah kami ; ampunilah kami ; serta rahmatilah kami.
Engkaulah Penolong kami, maka tolonglah kami terhadap kaum yang kafir. ” (QS. Al Baqarah : 285-286)
