Tuhan berfiman di surat Yunus[10]: 99, bahwa jika Tuhan berkehendak, Dia bisa membuat semua orang di dunia menjadi Muslim. Itulah alasan kami tidak boleh memaksa siapapun untuk masuk lslam kecuali dari hati mereka sendiri.

Tuhan telah menciptakan berbagai makhluk. Semua makhluk Tuhan selain manusia dan jin, seperti binatang, malaikat, dan tumbuhan tidak mempunyai kehendak bebas. Jika Tuhan menjadikan manusia menjadi Muslim semua, maka apa bedanya dengan malaikat? Ini dikarenakan malaikat tidak punya kehendak bebas. Apapun yang difirmankan Tuhan pasti mereka ikuti seratus persen. Jadi Tuhan menciptakan makhluk lain yang disebut manusia. Keistimewaan dari manusia adalah dia mempunyai kehendak bebas untuk patuh atau menentang Tuhan. Jika Tuhan menjadikan kita semua (manusia) untuk mematuhi-Nya, maka kita sama saja seperti para malaikat. Maka apa apa bedanya manusia dengan malaikat dan dimana ujiannya?


Sebagai contoh, seorang guru mengajari murid-muridnya di suatu sekolah. Lalu pekan ujian pun tiba dan murid itu datang untuk ujian. Seperti yang kita ketahui, dalam ujian, kita dilarang membuka buku, karena ujian adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan dari seorang murid, apakah mereka ingat akan pelajaran yang telah diberikan dan apakah mereka mengikuti ajaran gurunya atau tidak. Jika murid itu membuka buku pelajaran kemudian menuliskan jawabannya dari buku itu, maka dimanakah ujiannya? Jadi hidup ini seperti yang disebutkan dalam Quran di surat Mulk[67]: 2, “Tuhan menjadikan mati dan hidup, untuk menguji siapa di antara kamu yang lebih baik amalnya.”

Kesimpulannya, kehidupan yang sedang kau jalani ini adalah ujian untuk akhirat. Tuhan berfirman dalam surat Al-Baqarah[2]: 155, "Akan Kami berikan cobaan kepadamu, dengan ketakutan, kelaparan, kurangnya harta, jiwa dan barang-barang yang kamu dapatkan." Tuhan juga berfirman bahwa anak-anakmu, istrimu, dan kekayaanmu adalah ujian untukmu.” Jadi semua ini adalah ujian untuk kita. Semoga itu menjawab pertanyaanmu.
