Nah, yang saya tanyakan, apakah ada dalil/nash yang menjelaskan bahwa berkurban itu ibarat menyembelih sifat kehewanan orang yang berkurbannya?

Kalo ada, berarti orang yang berkurban itu sama saja dengan membagi sifat kehewanan kepada orang lain. Mohon penjelasannya Trimakasih. Wasalam.

JAWAB: Wa’alaikum salam wr. wb. Kami belum/tidak menemukan dalil yang menyebutkan bahwa berkurban itu sama dengan menyembelif sifat kehewanan. Pemahaman itu hanyalah pendapat ulama yang mencoba menggali hikmah atau pelajaran di balik ibadah kurban.

Pendapat demikian tidaklah keliru karena memang kita harus menghilangkan sifat-sifat kebinatangan dalam diri kita, seperti mengikuti hawa nafsu, bertindak tanpa berpikir, serakah, dan hewan hanya memikirkan/mengurus "urusan perut" dan "di bawah perut" dalam hidupnya.

Ibadah kurban itu disyariatkan sebagai bukti syukur sekaligus mendekatkan diri kepada Allah, sebagaimana disebutkan dalam QS. Al-Kautsar, juga simbol ketaatan kepada perintah Allah, menghidupkan syiar Nabi Ibrahim a.s. dalam menegakkan agama tauhid (Islam), dan mengajarkan semangat rela berkorban apa saja demi syiar Islam dan mencapai keridhoan Allah SWT.
