Memberantas amal perbuatan bid'ah di kalangan umat Islam sangatlah sulit. Bahkan, lebih sulit daripada menghapus kemaksiatan. Masalahnya, pelaku bid'ah (ahlul bid'ah) merasa yang dilakukannya baik dan benar, dan selalu punya argumen (alasan) untuk membenarkan amalan bid'ahnya.

Alasan yang paling sering dikemukakan oleh ahli bid'ah adalah bahwa amalannya termasuk BID'AH HASANAH, bid'ah yang baik. Padahal, sudah jelas sabda Nabi Saw bahwa "SELURUH BID'AH ITU SESAT".

“Hati-hatilah dengan perkara yang diada-adakan karena setiap perkara yang diada-adakan adalah bid’ah dan setiap bid’ah adalah sesat.” (HR. Abu Daud no. 4607 dan Tirmidzi no. 2676).

Seorang ulama besar dalam madzhab Syafi’i berkata mengenai maksud bid’ah itu sesat, “Yang dimaksud setiap bid’ah itu sesat adalah setiap amalan yang dibuat-buat dan tidak ada dalil pendukung baik dalil khusus atau umum” (Fathul Bari, 13: 254).

Ibnu Rajab dari madzhab Hambali juga mengatakan, “Setiap yang dibuat-buat lalu disandarkan pada agama dan tidak memiliki dasar dalam Islam, itu termasuk kesesatan. Islam berlepas diri dari ajaran seperti itu termasuk dalam hal i’tiqod (keyakinan), amalan, perkataan yang lahir dan batin” (Jaami’ul ‘Ulum wal Hikam, 2: 128).

Ahli Bid'ah Merasa Benar, Balik Menuding

Tidak mungkin rasanya kita bisa mengubah sikap orang yang merasa benar, kecuali atas bantuan hidayah Allah SWT.

Ketika kita mengatakan bahwa suatu amalan itu bid'ah, maka para ahli bid'ah akan melakukan "serangan balik" dengan mengatakan bahwa kita adalah Salafi, Wahabi, atau apalah. Salafi-Wahabi bahkan dimusuhi oleh para ahli bid'ah. Padahal, mereka tidak paham apa itu Salafi dan Wahabi.

Bahkan ketika kita menjelaskan apa sebanrnya Salafi-Wahabi, para ahli bid'ah pun masih saja "melawan", misalnya dengan mengatakan bahwa kita termasuk kelompok Salafi-Wahabi. Masya Allah....!

Para ahli bid'ah lupa, agama Allah SWT ini (Islam) sudah sempurna. Pelaku bid'ah bisa dikatakan mengingkari ayat tentang kesempurnaan Islam ini, karena mereka masih saja membuat amalan baru yang tidak dicontohkan Rasulullah Saw dan para sahabat.

“Pada hari ini telah Kusempurnakan untuk kamu agamamu, dan telah Ku-cukupkan kepadamu ni’mat-Ku, dan telah Ku-ridhai Islam itu jadi agama bagimu” (QS. Al-Maidah:3).

Semoga kita semua mendapatkan hidayah dari Allah Swt agar senantiasa beramal ibadah sesuai dengan sunah Rasul sehingga diterima sebagai amal ibadah. Soalnya, amalan bid'ah jelas ditolak oleh Allah SWT.
