Kisah berikut adalah kisah tobat seorang muslimah yang istimewa. Bagaimana tidak special. Rasulullah menyalati jenazahnya dan beliau juga berkata,
“Seandainya tobat wanita itu dibagikan kepada 70 orang dari penduduk Madinah, maka tobat itu akan mencukupinya”
Imam Muslim dalam sahihnya, dan juga para penulis kitab sunah telah meriwayatkan sebuah kisah tobat yang paling mengagumkan.
Pada suatu hari Rasulullah duduk di dalam masjid, sementara para sahabat duduk mengitari beliau. Beliau mengajari, mendidik dan mensucikan (hati) mereka. Majelis tersebut di penuhi oleh sahabat besar Nabi.
Ketika semua orang sedang fokus kepada Rasulullah, tiba – tiba datanglah seorang wanita berhijab masuk ke pintu masjid. Wanita tersebut menghadap dengan penuh gentar dan takut.
Hingga dia sampai kepada Rasulullah, kemudian dia berdiri di hadapan beliau dan berkata, “Wahai Rasulullah, aku telah melakukam maksiat yang mewajibkan adanya hukuman had (atasku), maka sucikanlah aku”
Diberi WaktuSeketika memerahlah wajah beliau hingga hampir – hampir meneteskan darah. Kemudian beliau mengarahkan wajahnya ke arah kanan dan diam, seakan-akan beliau tidak mendengar sesuatu.
Rasulullah berusaha agar wanita ini mencabut perkataannya, akan tetapi wanita tersebut adalah wanita yang istimewa, wanita yang salehah.
Maka, Nabi Muhammad Saw bersabda kepadanya, “Pergilah, hingga engkau melahirkannya,”
Berlalulah bulan demi bulan, dia mengandung putranya selama 9 bulan, kemudian dia melahirkannya. Maka, pada hari pertama nifasnya, dia pun datang dengan membawa bayinya dan berkata,
“Wahai Rasulullah, sucikanlah aku dari dosa zina, inilah dia, aku telah melahirkannya, maka sucikanlah aku wahai Rasulullah!”
Maka, Nabi pun melihat ke anak wanita tersebut, sementara hati beliau tercabik – cabik karena merasakan sakit dan sedih.
Siapa yang akan menyusui bayi tersebut jika ibunya mati ? Siapakah yang akan mengurusi keperluannya jika had (hukuman) ditegakkan atas ibunya ?
Maka, kemudian Nabi Muhammad Saw bersabda, “Pulanglah, susuilah dia, maka jika engkau telah menyapihnya, kembalilah kepadaku.”
Disholati RasulullahMaka, wanita itu pun pergi ke rumah keluarganya, dia susui anaknya. Tahun pun bergulir berganti tahun.
Kemudian wanita itu datang dengan membawa anaknya yang sedang memegang roti. Dia berkata, “Wahai Rasulullah, aku telah menyapihnya, maka sucikanlah aku!”
Dia dan keadaannya sungguh sangat menakjubkan. Kurang lebih tiga tahun waktu yang diberikan Rasulullah justru menambah kekuatan imannya.
Nabi Muhammad mengambil anaknya. Akan tetapi ini adalah perintah Allah, keadilan langit, kebenaran yang dengannya kehidupan akan tegak.
Nabi bersabda, “Siapa yang mengurusi anak ini, maka dia adalah temanku di surga.”
Kemudian beliau memerintahkan agar wanita tersebut dirajam. Dalam sebuah riwayat lainnya, dikatakan bahwa Nabi Muhammad memerintahkan agar wanita itu dirajam, kemudian beliau menyalatinya.
Maka, berkatalah Umar, “Anda menyalatinya wahai Nabi Allah, sungguh dia telah berzina.”
Maka, beliau bersabda, “Sungguh dia telah bertobat dengan satu tobat, saindainya tobat itu dibagikan kepada 70 orang dari penduduk Madinah, maka tobat itu akan mencukupinya. Apakah engkau mendapati sebuah tobat yang lebih utama dari pengorbanan dirinya untuk Allah?” (HR Ahmad).
