Meski Tidak Punya Kaki, Ustadz Mamat Ikhlas Mengajar Ngaji Tanpa Dibayar


Kisah inspiratif datang dari Kabupaten Ciamis. Keterbatasan fisik yang dialami Mamat Rahmat (54) warga Dusun Cimendong Desa Panjalu Kabupaten Ciamis tidak menjadi hambatan untuk berbuat kebaikan, mengabdi menjadi guru ngaji bagi anak-anak di wilayahnya.
Mamat mengalami kelainan fisik sejak dilahirkan, ia tidak memiliki dua kaki dan tangannya juga tidak sempurna.
Ia mengajar anak-anak usia SD dan SMP juga sebagian anak SMA sudah 25 tahun lalu, setelah sebelumnya menimba ilmu di pesantren di Tasikmalaya.
Anak-anak yang sering datang ke rumahnya tidak kurang dari 50 orang.
Mengajar ngaji Al Quran dan memberikan ilmu agama bagi anak-anak dilakukannya tanpa meminta imbalan sepeser pun. Mamat hanya mencari rida untuk mencetak generasi muda yang berahlak baik.
Daripada harus meminta-minta, ia lebih memilih memberikan manfaat bagi anak-anak Panjalu. Mengingat dewasa ini, banyak anak yang terjerumus dalam perbuatan negatif seperti narkoba dan minuman keras. Sehingga Mamat khawatir anak-anak di Panjalu terjerumus.
“Ini amanah dari orang tua, meneruskan untuk mengajar ngaji anak-anak. Dulu ngaji di masjid, tapi sekarang sedang dibangun jadi ngajinya pindah ke rumah,” ujar Mamat saat ditemui di rumahnya Rabu (25/4/2018).
Mamat biasa mengajar anak-anak ngaji pada siang hari selepas solat dzuhur dan pada sore hari selepas solat magrib.
Selain itu, Mamat juga sering mengajar dan mengisi pengajian di beberapa masjid di Panjalu. Diantar jemput oleh tukang ojek.
“Bagi saya tidak ada penghasilan di dunia tidak apa-apa tapi nanti mungkin di akhirat. Ini juga sedikit-sedikit ada untuk sehari-hari dari orang tua anak-anak,” katanya.
Mamat juga bersyukur mendapat isteri Rosmanah yang solehah, yang selalu menemaninya. Mamat mengenal Rosmanah di Pondok Pesantren atas perantara gurunya.
“Pertamanya saya bilang kepada guru untuk mencarikan jodoh. Ini juga untuk membantu mengajar ngaji anak-anak. Alhamdulillah setelah dikenalkan langsung menikah. Memang sampai sekarang belum ada titipan (anak),” ucapnya.
Atas niat baiknya untuk mendidik agama anak-anak di Panjalu, Mamat dan Rosmanah bisa ibadah umroh ke tanah suci atas bantuan dari warga pada tahun 2015 lalu.
“Alhamdulillah, tidak disangka-sangka bisa berangkat ke tanah suci, kalau dari melihat kondisi saya tidak mungkin untuk biayanya, tapi Alloh berkehendak lain sampai bisa umroh,” katanya.
Mamat berharap, kepada anak-anak untuk tetap menjaga prilaku dan ingat terhadap ajaran agama. Jangan sampai terjerumus kepada prilaku negatif.
