Komnas HAM Tidak Setuju Mahasiswi Bercadar Diminta Mundur Dari Kampus


Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta bakal meminta mundur mahasiswinya yang bersikukuh tak mau melepas cadar. Komisi Nasional Hak Asasi Manusia (Komnas HAM) menilai sikap UIN ini berpotensi melanggar hak atas pendidikan.
“Saya tidak setuju kalau kemudian mahasiswi dikeluarkan bila menolak melepas cadar,” kata komisioner Komnas HAM, Beka Ulung Hapsara, kepada detikcom, Selasa (6/3/2018).
UIN Sunan Kalijaga kini punya tim konseling yang bakal mende-cadar-isasi, tentu saja istilah ini tak dipakai UIN, mahasiswinya. Ada tenggat waktu tujuh kali peringatan. Bila tetap menolak setelah tujuh kali diminta melepas cadar, maka mahasiswi itu akan diminta ‘cabut’ dari kampus.
“Itu kan kemudian membatasi hak mereka atas pendidikan yang berkualitas,” protes Beka.
UIN beralasan, cadar juga bisa mempersulit identifikasi mahasiswi yang bersangkutan saat ujian. Mahasiswi bercadar bisa menukar dirinya dengan orang lain saat ujian, alias ada potensi kecurangan ujian dalam cadar.
“Alasan itu tidak substantif. Mengaitkan cadar dengan stereotip radikal itu tidak pantas, termasuk cadar diasosiasikan dengan kecurangan,” ujar Beka.
Komisioner Komnas HAM Amiruddin, dihubungi terpisah, menyatakan pihaknya belum bergerak menyelidiki kasus pelarangan cadari di UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta itu. Namun dia mempersilakan laporan terkait ini untuk dimasukkan ke Komnas HAM supaya bisa ditindaklanjuti.
“Kalau ada yang merasa dirugikan, kalau dia mengadu ke Komnas HAM maka bisa ditindaklanjuti, kita bisa tanya ke rektornya,” kata Amiruddin.
Sebelumnya, Rektor UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yudian Wahyudi telah berbicara mengenai tim konseling yang akan menangani para mahasiswi bercadar di lingkungan kampusnya. Tim terdiri dari lima dosen di setipa fakultas.
“Nanti anak dikonseling. Kalau sampai tujuh kali masih pada pendiriannya, kita minta mereka mengundurkan diri (dari kampus),” kata Yudian kepada wartawan di Kampus, Yogyakarta, Senin (5/3) kemarin.
Tujuan ‘de-cadar-isasi’ untuk meluruskan paham atau ideologi radikal yang diduga berkembang di kalangan mahasiswi bercadar. Selain itu, kebijakan ini juga diambil untuk mempermudah administrasi kampus.
“Siapa yang bisa menjamin waktu ujian itu benar dia orangnya. Bisa saja kan, bisa orang lain (di dalam cadar itu). Saat pertama kali masuk kampus dulu setiap mahasiswa juga sudah menyatakan sanggup mematuhi aturan yang ada di kampus,” kata Yudian.
