يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
“Hai Nabi, Katakanlah kepada isteri-isterimu, anak-anak perempuanmu dan isteri-isteri orang mukmin: ‘Hendaklah mereka mengulurkan jilbabnya ke seluruh tubuh mereka.’ Yang demikian itu supaya mereka lebih mudah untuk dikenal, karena itu mereka tidak diganggu” (QS. 33 : 59).
