Ketua Umum Pantai Amanat Nasional (PAN), Zulkifli Hasan, menyebut terbentuknya poros ketiga di pilpres 2019 butuh keajaiban. Oleh karenanya, pihaknya mencari alternatif lain soal koalisi di pilpres mendatang.

"Ya kalau poros ketiga, poros kesatu itu kalau ada keajaiban," kata Zulkifli di sela puncak Milad Akbar Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah di Sportorium Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), Rabu (14/3/2018) malam.

Oleh karenanya, dari pada membentuk poros ketiga pihaknya mencoba membentuk poros nasional. Menurutnya, poros nasional adalah yang paling rasional dibangun tiap parpol.

"Poros nasional itu poros yang rasional," lanjut pria yang juga menjabat sebagai Ketua Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat (MPR) ini.

Zulkifli menerangkan, poros nasional sangat mungkin terbentuk di antara parpol. Seperti koalisi di antara PAN dengan PDIP, Nasdem, Demokrat maupun Gerindra.

"Jadi saya sebut poros nasional. Ya misal ya ada PDI Perjuangan ada Mbak Mega, ada Surya Paloh Nasdem, Demokrat Pak SBY, Gerindra Pak Prabowo," paparnya.

Ia menambahkan yang terpenting di tahun politik ini adalah bukan siapa yang menjadi capres maupun cawapres. Namun, bagaimana persatuan dan kesatuan masyarakat terjaga.

"Jadi adu konsep, adu gagasan, jangan tarung kebencian, tarung saling menghujat, palagi bermusuhan. Ini kan tarung antara anak negeri saja," katanya.

Menurutnya saat ini yang terpenting bukanlah siapa yang akan diusung menjadi capres maupun cawapres. Namun, bagaimana di tahun politik ini tidak terjadi perpecahan di tengah masyarakat.

"Yang paling penting begini, yang paling penting tahun politik ini pilpres jangan sampai membuat kita berhadapan-hadapan. Pemerintah atau anti pemerintah. Koalisi ini, koalisi itu," harapnya.

"Jadi yang paling penting bagaimana pileg, pilpres ini bisa bermutu, bisa bagus. Bisa mensejahterakan rakyat, bisa damai, umatnya tenteram aman, negaranya bisa maju. Begitu kira-kira," pungkas dia.
