Badan Pengawasan Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Kepri di Batam mengungkapkan nama-nama produk sarden kaleng mengandung cacing. Terdiri dari 16 merek produk impor dan 11 merek produk dalam negeri.

Kepala BPOM Kepri, Yosef Dwi Irwan mengatakan, hingga 28 Maret 2018, BPOM RI telah melakukan sampling dan pengujian terhadap 541 sampel sarden kaleng yang terdiri dari 66 merek.

Hasil pengujian menunjukkan, 27 merek (138 bets) positif mengandung parasit cacing, didominasi produk impor.

Adapun produk dalam negeri bahan bakunya juga berasal dari impor.

"Jadi 11 merek produk dalam negeri itu, bahan bakunya juga impor dari luar," kata Yosef Dwi Irwan, Kamis (29/3/2018).

27 merek sarden kaleng mengandung cacing. Terdiri dari 138 bets di antaranya sarden kaleng merek ABC, ABT, Ayam Brand, Botan, CIP, Dongwon, Dr Fish, dan Farmer Jack.

Kemudian sarden kaleng Fiesta seafood, Gaga, Hoki, Hosen, IO, Jojo, King Fisher, LSC, Maya, Nago atau Nagos, Naraya, Pesca, Poh Sung, Pronas, Ranesa, S&W, Sempio, TLC serta sarden kaleng TSC.

"Kami terus memantau pelaksanaan penarikan dan pemusnahan, serta meningkatkan sampling dan pengujian terhadap bets lainnya dan semua produk ikan dalam kaleng, baik produk dalam maupun luar negeri," jelas Yosef.

Yosef berharap, bagi masyarakat yang menemukan produk bermasalah dapat menghubungi contact center Halo BPOM di no telepon 1-500-533 atau SMS 0-8121-9999-533.

"Bisa juga ke email halobpom@pom.go.id, atau Unit Layanan Pengaduan Konsumen (ULPK) Balai Besar/Balai POM di seluruh Indonesia," pungkasnya.

"Kami minta masyarakat di Kepulauan Riau tetap tenang, dan bersama-sama membantu pengawasan peredaran sarden kaleng yang mengandung cacing tersebut, agar benar-benar tidak ada lagi beredar di Kepri," imbau Yosef.

Selain itu, atas temuan ini, 16 merek sarden kaleng produk impor untuk sementara waktu dilarang masuk ke Indonesia, dan 11 merek produk dalam negeri proses produksinya dihentikan hingga audit komprehensif selesai dilakukan.

"Bagi masyarakat yang sudah terlanjur membeli dan memiliki stok sarden kelang di rumahnya, mohon keikhlasannya untuk memusnahkannya. Hal ini untuk menghindari terjadinya hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan," pinta Yosef.

Lebih jauh Yosef mengatakan, BPOM bersama dengan kementerian atau lembaga terkait telah melakukan koordinasi untuk perkuatan pengawasan sepanjang rantai produksi sarden kelang tersebut, sejak penangkapan dan penanganan bahan baku hingga produk jadi.

"Pemerintah Indonesia melalui Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan juga telah memberikan notifikasi kepada Pemerintah China terkait bahan baku sarden kelang yang mengandung parasit cacing," jelas Yosef.

Masyarakat diminta untuk lebih cermat dan hati-hati dalam membeli produk pangan dan selalu ingat Cek “KLIK” (kemasan, label, izin edar dan kedaluarsa) sebelum membeli atau mengonsumsi produk pangan.

"Pastikan kemasannya dalam kondisi utuh, baca informasi pada label, pastikan memiliki izin edar dari BPOM RI, dan tidak melewati masa kedaluarsa," imbau Yosef.
