Ruben Onsu Sempat Sakit, Kini Semakin Kurus & Wajahnya Penuh Jerawat, Istri Ungkap Hasil Tes Kanker

Presenter Ruben Onsu harus menyerah pada kondisi kesehatan dan mengurangi aktivitasnya dalam mencari rupiah.

Pasalnya, bila suami Sarwendah itu tetap memaksakan bekerja tidak kenal waktu, maka penyakit pun akan menghampiri.

Ruben sempat tergolek tak berdaya di atas ranjang Rumah Sakit Umum Bunda, Menteng, Jakarta Pusat, beberapa waktu lalu.

Ia jatuh sakit pascaliburan dari Jepang. Namun bukan aktivitas itu yang jadi penyebab utamanya.

Sepulang dari Negeri Sakura, Ruben langsung syuting di sebuah stasiun televisi.

Padahal, saat di Jepang, Ruben Onsu sudah merasa tidak enak badan. Hal itu disebabkan karena faktor cuaca dan makanan. Ditambah lagi, ia mempunyai penyakit asma.

Ayah Thalia Putri Onsu itu menjelaskan, ia sudah tidak berdaya di hari kedua syuting.

"Saat itu napas sudah sedikit. Saya jalan sama Ayu (Ting Ting), saya tinggalin Ayu, saya cari napas, sampai di mobil kok napas saya pendek. Telepon Wendah (Sarwendah) dan saya langsung ke rumah sakit," ujar Ruben di RSU Bunda, Sabtu (13/1/2017).

Untung saja kondisi kesehatan Ruben berangsur membaik setelah itu.

Kendati demikian, Ruben tetap melakukan tes kesehatan secara menyeluruh. Termasuk melakukan tes kanker.

"Iya soalnya kan takutnya kami, mendingan cek semuanya. Namanya check up kan cek semua badan," ujar Sarwendah Tan, Minggu (4/3/2018).

Bersyukurnya Ruben, tidak ada penyakit membahayakan ditemukan dari hasil cek kesehatan tersebut.

"Pas check up sih so far aman semuanya, sehat-sehat saja. Cuma kemarin itu dia kurang protein, kurang istirahat, kecapekan," kata Sarwendah.

Dokter yang merawat Ruben di RSU Bunda pun menjelaskan bahwa Ruben ambruk dikarenakan kelelahan.

Untuk itulah, kini Sarwendah menjadwalkan agar suaminya rutin melakukan cek kesehatan setiap bulan.

Selain itu, Sarwendah meminta Ruben agar memerhatikan asupan makanan yang dikonsumsi.

Pascasembuh dari sakit, ada yang berbeda dari perawakan Ruben Onsu.

Anda tentunya bisa melihat sendiri di media sosial Ruben. Ia kini terlihat semakin kurus, wajahnya pun begitu tirus.

Ternyata berat badan Ruben memang sempat turun drastis.

Menurut Sarwendah, berat badan suaminya hanya 55 kilogram saat dibawa ke rumah sakit.

Hal itu disebabkan karena Ruben kekurangan protein dalam tubuh.

Namun, seiring berjalannya waktu, berat badan Ruben berangsur bertambah.

"Gue sekarang udah 62 kilogram, udah mulai kembali engap-engap lagi," kata Ruben.

Meski berat badan kembali normal, namun masih ada satu hal lagi pada diri Ruben yang membuat publik bertanya-tanya.

Ya, kini wajah Ruben begitu dipenuhi jerawat.

Menurut Ruben, jerawat pada wajahnya disebabkan karena ia jarang berolah raga.

"Kayak orang-orang yang mau bikin otot minum susu itu. Nah, tapi saya kapan olahraganya? Tidur aja berantem, dalam arti gue acara aja baru selesai jam dua atau tiga pagi. Terus tidur jam empat atau enam pagi. Thalia bangun tidur jam tujuh, manggil-manggil ayah... ayah..., terus saya melek lagi," kata Ruben.

"Makanya gimana mau olahraga gitu, itu aja udah berantem sama waktu. Jadi ya gini, berjerawat," tambahnya.

Sekarang Ruben tidak bisa berkutik lagi. Ia harus mengubah pola hidup, menyerah pada pentingnya kesehatan tubuh.

Hal itu diwujudkan Ruben dengan cara mengurangi kesibukan.

Jika sebelumnya Ruben kerap bekerja hingga dini hari, kini ia membatasi hingga pukul 21.00.

Namun tetap ada konsekuensi di balik perubahan pola kehidupannya itu. Ruben harus merelakan beberapa program acara yang dipandunya.

"Enggak ngambil acara malam lagi. Sehari saya bisa 5-6 program, sekarang hanya 4-5 program aja," ucap Ruben.

Tidak hanya itu, demi mewujudkan hidup sehat, Ruben juga berencana mengosongkan jadwal untuk olah raga.

"Jam delapan atau sembilan pagi harus olahraga. Saya akui memang selama empat tahun ini enggak pernah olahraga bahkan berenang enggak ada. Jadi harus pintar-pintar saya mengatur pola," ujarnya.
