Polisi: Tiga Warga Turki Pelaku Pembobolan ATM Akan Diproses Hukum di Indonesia

Polri diketahui meringkus tiga warga negara asing (WNA) asal Turki, yang diketahui menjadi pelaku pembobolan ATM di Bali.
Polri pun menegaskan proses hukum ketiganya akan dilakukan di Indonesia, meski mereka berasal dari Turki.

"Tetap kalau mereka lakukan di sini (lokasi tindak kejahatan), kami proses walaupun dia warga negara asing, kami proses di sini," ujar Kadiv Humas Polri Irjen Pol Setyo Wasisto, di Mabes Polri, Jl Trunojoyo, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, Selasa (13/3/2018).
Setyo beralasan locus delicti atau lokasi tempat pelanggaran pidana pelaku dilakukan di Bali, Indonesia.
Sehingga pihaknya pun dapat memproses penegakan hukum kepada ketiga pelaku, yakni Kimis Dogan (43), Mentes Mehmet Ali (31) dan Koc Tayfun (36).
Lebih lanjut, jenderal bintang dua ini mengungkap adanya penggunaan teknologi canggih dalam pembobolan ATM itu.

Setyo menyangsikan jika pelaku menggunakan cara manual yang kerap dilakukan di Indonesia, seperti sistem ganjal kartu.

"Mungkin pelaku menggunakan teknologi yang lebih canggih, kalau manual nggak mungkin," kata Setyo.
Sebelumnya, terdapat laporan dari Bank Mandiri Regional XI Bali Nusra, yang kemudian diselidiki oleh polisi  dengan melihat rekaman Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) di ATM Mandiri.

Dari rekaman CCTV terlihat WNA yang dicurigai sebagai pelaku skimming.
Hal tersebut terbukti saat dilakukan pengecekan pada tanggal Rabu (7/3). Saat ini polisi menemukan alat skimming di ATM Mandiri di lokasi Canggu Mart.
Polisi kemudian melakukan penyelidikan dengan cara mengintai pelaku dan melakukan penangkapan selama tiga hari, pada 7 sampai 9 Maret 2018.
Polda Bali berhasil mengamankan barang bukti berupa lima unit laptop, dua buah HP, alat MSRGQG, alat skimming, satu set mini grinder, alat perekam, alat input data, 70 buah kartu ATM serta uang tunai Rp17.848.000 dan uang tunai dalam bentuk Ringgit Malaysia.
