Tuti Tursilawati adalah TKI asal Cikeusik, Tuti Berangkat ke Arab, pada 5 September 2010 dan bekerja di Kota Thaif, Provinsi Mekkah Barat.

Tuti divonis mati oleh pengadilan di Arab Saudi pada Juni 2011 dengan tuduhan membunuh majikannya.

Padahal pembunuhan itu tak disengaja lantaran Tuti membela diri dari upaya pemerkosaan majikannya.

Selama bekerja Tuti kerap mendapatkan pelecehan seksual.

Tuti melawan dan mendorong sang majikan, rupanya setelah beberapa hari dirawat di rumah sakit majikan Tuti meninggal.

Tuti kemudian melarikan diri.

Namun, saat pelarian, Tuti malah diperkosa oleh sembilan orang Arab.

Tuti ditangkap oleh pihak kepolisian di Thaif Arab Saudi.

Namun, tak ada investigasi yang dilaporkan, telah terjadi perkosaan.

Segala daya dan upaya telah dilakukan Ibundanya Titi.

Ketua Umum Serikat Buruh Migran Indonesia yang mendampingi kasus itu sejak awal, pesimistis Tuti bisa dibebaskan dari vonis qisas atau pancung.

Pasalnya,  informasi dari Satgas TKI, keluarga korban tak bersedia menerima perwakilan Pemerintah Indonesia.

"Keluarga majikan adalah orang yang berpengaruh di Arab. Mereka otoriter sekali," kata Nismah saat jumpa pers di kompleks Gedung DPR, Jumat (11/11/2011).

Tujuh tahun berselang Ibunda Tuti kembali muncul dilayar kaca, Titi tidak jua menyerah memperjuangkan nasib anaknya, Rabu (28/3/2018).

Proses hukum yang telah selesai, membuat harapan Titi satu-satunya adalah memperoleh maaf dari keluarga korban.

"Proses hukum sudah selesai, satu-satunya harapan kami adalah anak keluarga dan kemudian mau memberikan maaf kepada Tuti," ujar Ketua Umum Serikat Buruh Migran Indonesia, Hariyanto.

Sambil berderai air mata Titi bercerita dan memohon kepada presiden untuk memberikannya kesempatan bertemu dengan anak majikan Tuti.

"Saya mohon bapak presiden saya pengin ketemu sama anak majikan yang bernama Munip Al Toibi, karena itu cuma satu-satunya yang bisa menolong Tuti," ujar Titi.

Titi juga menjelaskan dia akan merelakan harga dirinya demi anak pertamanya bisa terbebas dari hukuman mati.

"Saya janji, kalau saya bisa ketemu saya mau sujud dikakinya, saya mau memohon, saya mau minta maaf, saya minta Tuti dibebaskan," tambahnya.

Tak hanya itu Titi juga mengatakan dirinya tidak akan malu.

"Saya enggak mungkin malu, saya ikhlas," jelas Titi.
