Seorang wanita berinisial SM bersama suaminya AR diamankan polisi karena diduga melakukan tindak pidana perdagangan orang.

Keduanya diamankan Polresta Pontianak karena SM yang merupakan warga Pontianak ini menjual sepupunya sendiri, W (16), warga negara Malaysia kepada sang suami seharga Rp 500.000.

Kepala Satuan Reserse Kriminal Polresta Pontianak, Kompol Husni Ramli mengungkapkan, peristiwa ini berawal dari laporan paman korban pada awal Februari 2018.

"Peristiwa ini sendiri terjadi pada tahun 2015 yang lalu, ketika korban masih berusia 13 tahun," ujar Husni, Kamis (29/3/2018).

Husni menambahkan, berdasarkan keterangan SM, dia tega menjual sepupunya kepada suaminya lantaran terlilit utang.

SM pun menjual sepupunya itu sebanyak dua kali.

Uang yang ia terima digunakan untuk membayar utang-utangnya, karena SM merupakan seorang perempuan sosialita.

Karena tergiur dengan korban, sang suami pun melakukan persetubuhan terhadap korban yang saat itu masih berusia 13 tahun.

Kini, kasus tersebut sudah dilimpahkan ke Kejaksaan Negeri Pontianak dan masuk pada tahap dua.

“Kita sudah serahkan berkas perkara kepada pihak kejaksaan,” ungkap Husni.

Sementara korban saat ini sudah diamankan di Konsulat Malaysia untuk Indonesia di Pontianak.

Dihubungi terpisah, Kasi Pidana Umum Kejari Pontianak, AI Simamora mengatakan, berkas perkara kasus suami istri ini sudah dinyatakan lengkap.

“Kasus ini secepatnya akan disidangkan,” ujar Simamora.

Untuk mempertanggung jawabkan perbuatannya, SM dikenakan Undang-undang Perdagangan Orang dengan ancaman lima tahun penjara.

Sedangkan suaminya, AR, dikenakan Undang-undang Perlindungan Anak, dengan ancaman hukuman lima tahun penjara.
