Amy Bendall (22) harus menanggung denda uang sebesar 100 pound sterling atau setara dengan Rp 1,8 juta karena telat mengeluarkan kendaraannya dari tempat parkir.

Mending telat satu hingga dua jam, ini hanya terlambat dua detik saja. Amy Bendall sendiri memarkirkan mobilnya di parkiran Middleway, Burton, Staffordshine, Inggris.

Kala itu, ia sedang menuju pusat gym untuk berolahraga. Setelah selesai dengan segala urusan, Amy langsung mengambil mobilnya yang diparkir selama lima jam.

Mulanya ia tak pernah curiga dengan hal tersebut. Namun, setelah empat hari kemudian, Amy kaget karena menerima surat denda dari operator parkir yang menyantakan bahwa parkir kendaraannya lebih dua detik.

Surat itupun juga melampirkan foto kendaraannya yang tengah masuk dan keluar sambil menyantumkan keterangan waktu yang kelebihan dua detik itu.

Untuk itu, Amy langsung menelpon pihak operator parkir untuk menyampaikan keberatannya atas denda tersebut.

"Saya pergi ke kota untuk gym. Saya memeriksa waktu parkir saya dan mendapati hanya terlambat dua detik saja," ujar Amy.

"Saya terlambat mengeluarkan kendaraan bukan karena malas, tapi karena antrean parkiran begitu panjang," tambahnya.

Namun, setelah mengajukan banding pihak perusahaan membatalkan dendanya.

Kasus semacam ini ternyata tak dialami oleh Amy saja. Seorang wanita bernama Lyndsey Johnson (29) mengklaim bahwa ia pernah mendapat surat tuntutan serupa. Saat itu iya terlambat membayar parkir selama satu menit.

Jika Amy memilih membayar parkir agar mobilnya aman, maka beda halnya dengan pria yang satu ini. Ada seorang pemilik mobil di Thailand yang kaget ketika melihat kondisi mobilnya telah dipenuhi cat oranye.

Dikutip dari laman Asia One, Jumat (22/9/2017), insiden tersebut terjadi di wilayah Samut Prakan pada Rabu 20 September 2017.

Polisi menahan seorang pria yang mengaku telah menumpahkan cat oranye atasnya. Hal itu dilakukan karena ia marah setelah menemukan mobil tersebut parkir di depan rumahnya tanpa izin.

Di lokasi kejadian, polisi juga menemukan kaca mobil yang pecah dan bagian plat nomor kendaraan rusak. Polisi pun menarik kesimpulan bahwa pria itu tak hanya menyiram mobil dengan cat, tetapi juga merusaknya.

Pria pemilik sedan tersebut diketahui bernama Pisai Sawannasai. Pria berusia 59 tahun itu mengakui kesalahannya karena memarkirkan mobilnya sembarangan dan menghalangi akses masuk pemilik rumah.

"Saya mengaku salah karena telah memarkirkan mobil sembarangan. Tapi saya merasa reaksi yang ditimbulkan oleh pemilik rumah sangat berlebihan," ujar Pisai.

"Saya tak bisa mentolerir hal ini, kasus ini sudah saya laporkan kepada pihak berwajib dan akan ditindak hukum," tambahnya.

Seorang saksi mata mengatakan, ia melihat pemilik rumah yang tak disebutkan namanya itu tiba-tiba marah ketika melihat sebuah mobil parkir di depan rumahnya.

Ia sempat melihat sang pemilik rumah berteriak-teriak memanggil pemilik mobil, namun tak kunjung datang. Sang pemilik rumah langsung mengambil sebuah cat oranye yang ada di depan rumah dan menyiramnya ke bagian atas mobil.

Saat dimintai keterangan, pria itu mengaku kesal dan tak dapat menahan amarahnya. Hingga kini, polisi masih menyelidiki kasus tersebut lebih lanjut, Jika terbukti salah, pria itu akan didakwa dengan hukum yang berlaku.
