Dengan pengetahuan seadanya, Alma mencoba untuk menengahi.

Alma mengatakan pada Taqy kalau yang dia tahu, agama yang dianutnya ini cukup fleksibel.

Fleksibel yang dimaksud Alma yakni misalkan tak ada makanan lagi di hutan selain babi, daripada mati, mending makan babi.

Namun balasan dari Taqy justru membuatnya sakit hati.

Taqy meminta agar Alma tak mengajarinya karena dia merupakan seorang hafidz Qur'an yang lebih paham mengenai ilmu tersebut.

Mendapat jawaban seperti itu dari Taqy, Alma pun kaget.

Dia tak menyangka kalau suaminya begitu sombong pada sang istri.

Padahal Alma berharap kalau menikah dengan Taqy bisa menyempurnakan hijrah yang baru saja dilakukannya.
