ركعتا الفجر خير من الدنيا وما فيها

Dua rakaat (sebelumnya) shalat fajar (subuh) tambah baik dari dunia serta seisinya. (HR. Muslim)
Imam Nawawi Rahimahullah saat memberi komentar " tambah baik dari dunia ", yakni dari sisi kenikmatannya.
Dari redaksi hadits di atas beberapa ulama mengatakannya shalat sunnah fajar. Adapula yang menamainya sebagai shalat sunnah subuh lantaran dikerjakan sesebelum shalat subuh. Ada juga yang menyampaikan shalat sunnah barad mungkin saja lantaran dikerjakan saat hari masihlah dingin. Masihlah dari Ummul mukminin Aisyah binti Abi Bakar ini, Beliau
berkata :

لَم�' يَكُن�' اَلنَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى شَي�'ءٍ مِن�' اَلنَّوَافِلِ أَشَدَّ تَعَاهُدًا مِن�'هُ عَلَى

رَك�'عَتَي�' اَل�'فَج�'رِ

“Nabi Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam tak pernah memerhatikan shalat-shalat sunat melebihi perhatiannya pada dua rakaat fajar. ” (Muttafaq Alaihi)


Kapan Saat Membangun Dua Rakaat Sebelumnya Subuh?


Beberapa orang ada yang mengerti dua rakaat fajar itu yaitu shalat sunnah dua rakaat sebelumnya masuk Shubuh, yaitu sebelumnya adzan. Ini pemahaman yang salah. Kalau yang disebut dua rakaat sebelumnya itu yaitu sholat sunnah qabliyah Shubuh tersebut, sisi dari shalat sunnah rawatib.
