“Dari Abi Sa’id Al-Khudri bahwa sesungguhnya ia mendengar Rasulullah SAW bersabda : Apabila salah seorang diantara kamu bermimpi yang menyenangkan maka sesungguhnya itu berasal dari Allah SWT, hendaklah ia memuji Allah SWT (bertauhid kepada-Nya) dan hendaklah menceritakannya, tetapi apabila bermimpi yang ia tidak sukai, hendaklah meminta perlindungan kepada Allah (dengan mengucapkan ta’awwud ) dari keburukannya dan jangan menceritakan perihal mimpi itu kepada siapapun, maka mimpi itu tidak membahayakannya.”

Dari Abdul Rahman Bin Samurah RA berkata bahwa Rasulullah SAW bersabda:
“Sesungguhnya aku telah mengalami mimpi-mimpi yang menakjubkan pada malam sebelum aku di Isra’kan.. diantaranya :

1. Aku telah melihat salah seorang dari umatku di datangi malaikat maut dalam keadaan yang mengerikan untuk diambil nyawanya, namun malaikat terhalang perbuatannya karena Ketaatan dan kepatuhannya kepada kedua orang tuanya.

2. Aku melihat salah seorang dari umatku yang telah disediakan baginya azab kubur yang amat menyiksakan, namun ia diselamatkan karena wudhunya yang sempurna.

3. Aku melihat salah salah seorang dari umatku yang dikerumuni setan-setan dan iblis-iblis terlaknat, namun ia diselamatkan karena zikirnya yang tulus dan ikhlas kepada Allah SWT.

4. Aku melihat bagaimana umatku diseret dengan menggunakan rantai yang terbuat dari api neraka jahanam yang dimasukkan dari mulutnya dan dikeluarkan dari duburnya oleh malaikat Ahzab, namun karena sholatnya yang khusyu' dan tidak ditunjuk-tunjukkan maka ia dilepaskan dari siksaan itu.

5. Aku melihat umatku yang ditimpa kehausan yang amat sangat, namun setiap kali dia mendatangi sebuah telaga, ia terhalang untuk meminumnya, maka saat itu datanglah pahala puasanya yang ikhlas karena Allah SWT yang memberinya minum hingga ia merasa puas.

6. Aku melihat umatku yang sedang mencoba mendekati kumpulan para nabi yang sedang duduk bersama, setiap kali ia datang lalu dia diusir, maka menjelmalah mandi junub dengan rukunnya yang sempurna menuntunnya ke kumpulanku sambil duduk di sebelahku.

7. Aku melihat salah seorang dari umatku berada dalam keadaan yang gelap gulita di sekelilingnya, sedangkan dia di dalam kebinggungan, maka datanglah pahala haji dan umrahnya yang ikhlas kepada Allah SWT sehingga mengeluarkannya dari kegelapan menuju tempat yang terang-benderang.

8. Aku melihat umatku yang mencoba berbicara kepada golongan orang mukmin tetapi mereka tidak seorangpun mau membalas bicaranya, maka menjelmalah sifat silaturrahimnya dan tidak suka bermusuh-musuhan sesama umatku lalu menyeru kepada mereka agar menyambut bicaranya, lalu ia pun dapat berbicara dengan mereka.

9. Aku melihat umatku sedang menepis-nepiskan percikan api yang mengenai mukanya, namun ia dilindungi karena pahala sedekahnya yang ikhlas karena Allah SWT.
