JAWAB: Laki-laki boleh memakai cincin batu akik, dengan syarat bukan untuk syuhrah (bermegah-megahan dan takabur), tidak berlapiskan emas, tidak meyakini cintin itu punya kekuatan, jimat atau azimat (baca: Hukum Menyimpan Azimat), serta tidak dikenakan di jari tengah ataupun jari telunjuk (makruh).

Dalam Shahihain disebutkan Nabi Muhammad Saw mengenakan cincin perak dengan mata cintin dari baku akik.

Rasulullah Saw pada suatu kesempatan memakai cincin yang matanya dari perak dan pada waktu lain memakain cincin yang matanya dari batu Habasyi. Sedang dalam riwayat lain dari akik.” (Muhyiddin Syarf an-Nawawi, al- Minhaj Syarh Shahih Muslim).
