1. Tidak ada yang mengatakan atau memasukkan sholat awwabin --yaitu shalat sunat yang dikerjakan setelah Sholat Maghrib dan Ba'diyahnya (Ba'da Magrib)-- sebagai ibadah utama, karena haditsnya lemah (dhoif) menurut para ulama ahli hadits.

Menurut mayoritas ulama, tidak mengapa jika seseorang mengerjakan shalat setelah itu (Ba’diyah Maghrib)m dengan mengerjakan enam, delapan, sepuluh, atau lebih banyak raka'at lagi. Itu termasuk Fadlaiul A'mal (keutamaan ibadah).

2. Banyak ulama membolehkan mengamalkan hadits lemah (dhoif) sepanjang menyangkut amal sholeh ghair-mahdhoh, untuk keutamaan ibadah (fadhoilul a’mal).

Hal itu seperti dikatakan Imam An-Nawawi dalam Muqaddimah Hadits Arba`in-nya. Namun, hadits lemah tidak bisa dijadikan hujjah atau dalil, apalagi untuk masalah "hukum positif" (hudud/pidana/perdata).

Sikap “paling aman” adalah tidak menjadikan hadits lemah sebagai rujukan sampai ditemukan hadits yang kuat (sahih/hasan), seperti pendapat Abu Bakar Ibnu ‘Arabi yang menolak sama sekali segala macam hadits dhoif, baik untukmenetapkan hukum maupun untuk memberi sugesti amal.
