BAGAIMANA hukumnya memasang atau instal Software Aplikasi Al-Quran di HP atau SmartPhone? Apa hukumnya memasang Ringtone Suara Ngaji? Mengingat ‘kan Al-Quran itu disucikan dan diagungkan. Apakah hal tersebut diperbolehkan?

JAWAB: Sejauh ini kami berpendapat memasang aplikasi Al-Quran di HP boleh (mubah). Kami belum menemukan dalil yang melarangnya.

Menurut kami, menyimpan nash Al-Quran dalam HP sama hukumnya dengan menyimpannya di dalam komputer, yakni sama-sama boleh, asalkan tujuannya baik, yaitu untuk memudahkan kita ketika hendak membacanya atau mendengarkannya.

Salah satu ulama yang pernah membahas masalah ini adalah ulama Arab Saudi, Syaikh Dr. Shalih ibn Fauzan ibn Abdullah (Syeikh Shalih bin Fauzan Al-Fauzan).

Dalam sebuah fatwanya ia membolehkan menyimpan mushaf Al-Quran dalam HP dan membaca darinya (www.alfawzan.ws).

Hukum Ringtone Al-Quran

Lain halnya jika menggunakan Al-Quran sebagai nada dering (ringtone). Hal itu dilarang karena Al-Quran tidak diturunkan untuk yang demikian dan ini bukan termasuk memuliakan syiar-syiar Allah.

Jika suara bacaan Al-Quran digunakan sebagai ringtone, sama saja dengan memperlakukannya seperti nada dering, musik, atau lagu pada umumnya. Sedangkan Al-Quran sangat mulia, jauh lebih mulia.

"Tidak boleh menggunakan dzikir-dzikir, khususnya Al-Quran Al-Karim dalam handphone sebagai ganti dari nada dering yang muncul ketika ada yang mau berbicara. Hendaknya memasang nada dering biasa, yang tidak ada musiknya, seperti nada dering jam, atau suara lonceng yang ringan. Adapun menggunakan dzikir , Al-Quran, dan adzan maka ini termasuk berlebih-lebihan dan termasuk penghinaan terhadap Al-Quran dan dzikir-dzikir tersebut.
