Cara dan Bacaan Sujud Sahwi

Mohon dijelaskan tentang tatacara sujud sahwi dalam shalat, sebelum atau sesudah salam? Dan bagaimana doa/bacaannya? Jazakallah…

JAWAB: Sujud Sahwi adalah "sujud tambahan" ketika ada kekurangan (seperti lupa tasyahud awal dan rakaat) atau kelebihan rakaat dalam shalat.

Sujud sahwi dilakukan dua kali. Sebelum dan sesudah sujud diiringi takbir –sebagaimana sujud dalam shalat.

Hadits-hadits tentang sujud sahwi ada yang menyebutkan dilakukan sebelum salam, ada pula yang sesudah salam. Dengan demikian, pada dasarnya sujud sahwi boleh dilakukan sebelum atau sesudah salam.

Namun demikian, para ulama menganjurkan sebagai berikut:

1. Jika shalatnya perlu “ditambal” karena ada kekurangan, maka sujud sahwinya sebelum salam –untuk melengkapi kekurangan sebelum selesai shalat.
2. Jika shalatnya sudah selesai, atau kelebihan rakaat, maka maka sujud sahwinya sesudah salam.
3. Jika seseorang telanjur salam, namun ternyata masih memiliki kekurangan raka’at, maka sempurnakan kekurangan raka’at tadi dan lakukan sahwi sesudah salam.

“Setelah beliau (Rasulullah Saw) menyempurnakan shalatnya, beliau sujud dua kali. Ketika itu beliau bertakbir pada setiap akan sujud dalam posisi duduk. Beliau lakukan sujud ini sebelum salam.” (HR. Bukhari dan Muslim).

“Lalu beliau shalat dua rakaat lagi (yang tertinggal), kemudia beliau salam. Sesudah itu beliau bertakbir, lalu bersujud. Kemudian bertakbir lagi, lalu beliau bangkit. Kemudian bertakbir kembali, lalu beliau sujud kedua kalinya. Sesudah itu bertakbir, lalu beliau bangkit.” (HR. Bukhari dan Muslim).

Sujud sahwi sesudah salam ditutup lagi dengan salam. “Kemudian beliau pun shalat satu rakaat (menambah raka’at yang kurang tadi). Lalu beliau salam. Setelah itu beliau melakukan sujud sahwi dengan dua kali sujud. Kemudian beliau salam lagi.” (HR. Muslim)

Tentang bacaannya, kami belum menemukan adanya dalil yang menyebutkan Nabi Saw membaca doa khusus saat sujud sahwi. Hadits-hadits di atas juga hanya menyebukan sujud saja, tidak disebutkan yang dibaca Nabi Saw.

Doa sujud sahwi yang kini berkembang di kalangan umat, “Subhana man la yanamu wa la yashu” (Mahasuci Dzat yang tidak tidur dan tidak lupa)”, tidak bersumber dari Quran, hadits, ataupun contoh Rasul dan para sahabat. Kami belum menemukan dalil yang menyebutkannya.

Al-Hafidz Ibnu Hajar mengatakan: “Aku telah mendengar sebagian ulama yang menceritakan tentang dianjurkannya bacaan: “Subhaana man laa yanaamu wa laa yas-huw” ketika sujud sahwi (pada kedua sujudnya), maka aku katakan, “Aku tidak mendapatkan asalnya sama sekali.” (At Talkhis Al Habiir).

Jadi, tidak ada doa khusus ketika sujud sahwi. Artinya, hanya sujud, tanpa bacaan apa pun. Namun, mengacu kepada hadits tentang bacaan sujud dalam shalat, maka para ulama menganjurkan bacaan sujud, seperti “Subhana Rabbiyal A’la.”

Ibnu Qudamah berkata: “Dan hendaklah dia membaca di dalam sujud sahwi bacaan yang diucapkan di dalam sujud ketika shalat, karena sujud sahwi merupakan sujud yang disyariatkan serupa dengan sujud dalam shalat.” (Al-Mughni).

Ibnu Hazm berkata: “Orang yang sujud sahwi harus membaca, di dalam kedua sujudnya, “‘Subhana Rabbiyal A’la,’ berdasarkan sabda Rasulullah Saw ‘Jadikanlah ia (bacaan itu) di dalam sujudmu” (Al-Muhalla).

Fatwa Al-Lajnah Ad Daimah (komisi fatwa di Saudi Arabia) menyebutkan: “Sujud sahwi dilakukan dengan dua kali sujud setelah tasyahud akhir sebelum salam, dilakukan sebagaimana sujud dalam shalat. Dzikir dan do’a yang dibaca ketika itu adalah seperti ketika dalam shalat. Kecuali jika sujud sahwinya terdapat kekurangan satu raka’at atau lebih, maka ketika itu, sujud sahwinya sesudah salam. Demikian pula jika orang yang shalat memilih keraguan yang ia yakin lebih kuat, maka yang afdhol baginya adalah sujud sahwi sesudah salam.
