JAWAB: Wa’alaikum salam wr. Wb. Menangis tidak termasuk hal yang membatalkan puasa.

HAL-HAL YANG MEMBATALKAN PUASA
  1. Sengaja makan dan minum pada siang hari. Bila terlupa makan dan minum pada siang hari, maka tidak membatalkan puasa.
  2. Sengaja membikin muntah, bila muntah dengan tidak disengajakan, maka tidak membatalkan puasa.
  3. Pada siang hari terdetik niat untuk berbuka.
  4. Dengan sengaja menyetubuhi istri pada siang hari Ramadhan, ini di samping puasanya batal ia terkena sanksi berupa memerdekakan seorang hamba, bila tidak mampu maka puasa dua bulan berturut-turut, dan bila tidak mampu, maka memberi makan enam puluh orang miskin.
  5. Datang bulan pada siang hari Ramadhan (sebelum waktu masuk Maghrib).
“Barangsiapa yang terlupa, sedang dia dalam keadaan puasa, kemudian ia makan atau minum, maka hendaklah ia sempurnakan puasanya. Hal itu karena sesungguhnya Allah hendak memberinya karunia makan dan minum” (Hadits Shahih).
