Ini Amalan Sunah Malam Jumat yang Sebenarnya!

Sunah Malam Jumat identik dengan "kegiatan tertentu". Ada salah paham dan salah kaprah tentang amalan sunah malam Jumat. Menurut para ulama, tidak ada satu pun ayat dan hadits shahih yang menyebutkan bahwa "kegiatan tertentu" itu merupakan sunah malam jumat atau sunah dilakukan malam jumat.

Yang ada adalah hadits tentang sunah mandi sebelum shalat Jumat. Mungkin hadits itu yang lalu dihubung-hubungkan dengan "kegiatan tertentu" pada malam jumat tersebut.

Bukan hanya itu, beredar pula bahwa "kegiatan tertentu" itu sama dengan "membunuh sekian Yahudi". Menurut para ulama, sama sekali tidak ada dasar dalil, Quran ataupun hadits, tentang hal tersebut.

Yang jelas ada dalilnya tentang amalan sunah malam Jumat adalah Membaca Surat Al-Kahfi. Ada juga dalil tentang baca Surat Yasin, namun dalilnya disebut lemah (dhoif) oleh para ahli hadits.

Dari Sa’id al-Khudriy ia berkata, Rasulullah Saw bersabda:

مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْكَهْفِ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَضَاءَ لَهُ مِنَ النُّورِ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ.

“Barangsiapa membaca surat Al Kahfi pada malam Jum’at, maka ia akan mendapat cahaya antara dirinya dan rumah yang mulia (Mekkah)” (HR. Ad Darimi).

Selain membaca Surat Al-Kahfi, amalan sunah malam Jumat lainnya adalah Memperbanyak Sholawat kepada Nabi Muhammad Saw.

“Perbanyaklah shalawat untukku pada hari jum’ah dan malam jumah, karena barangsiapa yang bershalawat untukku dengan satu shalawat, niscaya Allah akan bershalawat untuknya sepuluh kali” (HR. Baihaqi).

Hanya dua amalan itulah yang dalilnya kuat mengenai amalan sunah malam Jumat: Baca Quran Surat Al-Kahfi dan Perbanyak Sholawat. Lainnya, lemah, bahkan palsu, atau lebih parah lagi tidak bersumber dari mana pun. Jadi, kedua hal itulah Amalan Sunah Malam Jumat yang Sebenarnya!

Dalam beribadah kita tidak bisa mengarang-ngarang, tapi harus sesuai dengan Al-Quran dan hadits, termasuk contoh dari Rasulullah Saw dan para sahabatnya. Jika tidak, amalan itu ditolak. Islam itu mudah, kita yang suka bikin susah dengan menambah-nambah amalan tertentu.

Islam itu sudah sempurna, sebagaimana ditegaskan dalam firman Allah SWT:

الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الإسْلامَ دِينًا

“ … Pada hari ini telah Aku sempurnakan untukmu agama-mu, dan telah Aku cukupkan kepadamu nikmat-Ku, dan telah Aku ridhai Islam sebagai agama bagimu …” [QS. Al-Maa’idah: 3].

Menurut Tafsir Ibnu Katsir: 

"(Ayat) ini merupakan nikmat Allah Azza wa Jalla terbesar yang diberikan kepada umat ini (umat Islam), tatkala Allah menyempurnakan agama mereka. Sehingga, mereka tidak memerlukan agama lain dan tidak pula Nabi lain selain Nabi mereka, yaitu Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. Oleh karena itu, Allah Azza wa Jalla menjadikan beliau sebagai penutup para Nabi dan mengutusnya kepada seluruh manusia dan jin. Sehingga, tidak ada yang halal kecuali yang beliau halalkan, tidak ada yang haram kecuali yang diharamkannya, dan tidak ada agama kecuali yang disyari’atkannya. Semua yang dikabarkannya adalah haq, benar, dan tidak ada kebohongan, serta tidak ada pertentangan sama sekali."
